The St. Augustine Tea Party invites Historic City News readers to hear their guest speaker, KrisAnne Hall, at their regular meeting on Tuesday, July 26th.
KrisAnne is a former Florida assistant state attorney who was fired last year after participating in a number of political speaking engagements, including at tea party rallies and on talk radio, in which she discussed her views of the Constitution.
Her boss, State Attorney Robert “Skip” Jarvis, said he received a complaint about her activities and gave what Hall described as an “ultimatum,” telling her to choose between her speaking engagements and her job.
She chose not give up her right to speak in the public forum.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m. at the Village Inn on Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine. Meet and greet is at 6:30.
