Several festive charitable events benefitting local organizations that help children and families in the community will receive support this month according to an announcement received by Historic City News from Prudential Network Realty in St. Augustine.
“Our team members have heart – for their customers and for their community,” said Broker-Manager Ann King. “We love the St. Augustine area, and everyone on our team is committed to community service. We want to do everything we can to make a difference in our community.”
Holiday Shopping Extravaganza. Realtor Debbie da Silva and Flagler College are leading the second annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza, a fundraiser for the Children’s Home Society of Florida. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2. Tickets for the extravaganza are $40 per person, which includes transportation to and from shops in historic downtown St. Augustine as well as lunch at La Pentola. Each participating venue will donate a percentage of its proceeds to the Children’s Home Society of Florida and Healthy Families of St. Johns County. Participating stores include Goldfinch, Down the Rabbit Hole, W.B. Tatter, St. Augustine Paper Co., Spanish Dutch Convoy, Declaration Boutique, Anchor, Fendi, Tre Sebastian, Rochelles, Whetstones Chocolate, The Spice and Tea Exchange, The Gifted Cork, Go Fish and H.W. Gala for Humanity. Several St. Augustine associates, including Ann King, An Marshall, Shelley Trela, Ann Van Fleet and Molly Butler, are supporting the Gala for Humanity to benefit Habitat for Humanity of St. Augustine and St. Johns County by serving on the event’s silent auction committee. The gala, which features food, live music, live and silent auctions, will be from 6 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, at the River House in St. Augustine. Reservations are $55 each or $100 per couple. Silent auction donations can be dropped off at Prudential Network Realty’s St. Augustine office in the SeaGrove Town Center. For more information, visit www.habitatstjohns.org.
SeaGrove Luminaria. Prudential Network Realty’s St. Augustine office will host holiday festivities from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, at the SeaGrove Town Center. The Groove will be providing music and food, and Santa Claus will be making an appearance. Donations will be collected of new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots during the event. There will also be select open house events.
Pie in the Sky. Since September and throughout the holiday season, the St. Augustine office will continue collecting food and clothing for Pie in the Sky. Based in Hastings, Pie in the Sky is a country store that supports the community by connecting people to the resources they need.
The public is encouraged to drop off donations for Pie in the Sky, Toys for Tots or Gala for Humanity’s silent auction at Prudential Network Realty’s St. Augustine office, located at 112 SeaGrove Main Street, Suite 210, St. Augustine Beach.
