Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning tomorrow morning and continuing through June 10th.
County Road 13 at Sixteen Mile Creek
Daytime lane closures with flaggers directing traffic while crews install retaining wall. A traffic shift is in place and the speed limit has been reduced to 40 mph.
King Street (State Road 5A)
From US 1 South to Avenida Menendez: Daytime lane closures Monday, June 6 through Thursday, June 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for roadway maintenance.
State Road 16 at the Shands Bridge
Daytime lane closure with flaggers directing traffic Sunday, June 5 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.
State Road 206
From Interstate 95 to County Road 305: Daytime lane closures Monday, June 6 through Thursday, June 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for shoulder repairs.
State Road A1A
From the St. Johns-Flagler County lines to Summer Haven (Sea Wall): Possible daytime lane closures may occur for delivery of equipment and materials.
