Road repairs and maintenance planned

Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning tomorrow morning and continuing through July 15th.

County Road 13 at Sixteen Mile Creek:
Intermittent daytime lane closures Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15. The traffic shift remains in place and the speed limit has been reduced to 40 mph.

State Road 206 from I-95 to County Road 305:
Daytime lane closures Monday, July 11 and Tuesday, July 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for shoulder repair.

State Road 207 from the Putnam County line to US 1:
Daytime lane closures while inmate crews repaint the roadway markings.

State Road A1A from the St. Johns-Flagler County line:
Possible daytime lane closures to Summer Haven may occur for delivery of equipment and materials.

State Road A1A North from Solano Road:
Northbound daytime lane closure to Ponte Vedra Lakes Boulevard Wednesday, July 13 for concrete repairs.

State Road A1A at Summer Haven Bridges:
Lane closure with flaggers just north of Marineland directing traffic at the north bridge Friday, July 15 from 2 a.m. to noon while crews pour the concrete deck. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and leaving the worksite.

State Road A1A at the west side of the Bridge of Lions:
Nighttime lane closure Wednesday, July 13 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday, July 14 while crews take samples from under the asphalt to determine the cause of a depression in the pavement.

US 1 between Saragossa Street and King Street:
Nighttime southbound lane closure Wednesday, July 11 from 7:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. Thursday, July 12 to allow crews to remove existing guardrail and place temporary concrete barriers on the southbound shoulder.
