Roundtable hears from firefighters union president

St. Johns County Civic Association Roundtable president Anthony Bosco reported to Historic City News that Edward F. Houston II, president of the St. Johns County Professional Firefighters and Paramedics union, will be the guest speaker at this month’s regular business meeting.

The Civic Association Roundtable will be held Monday, September 12, 2011 beginning at 9:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m.

Also addressing the group of civic leaders will be St. Johns County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Joseph Joyner.

Association meetings are held on the second floor in the Conference Center of the Northeast Florida Regional Airport at St. Augustine, located at 4730 Casa Cola Way.

The business meeting will also include reading and approval of minutes of previous meetings, a financial report and committee reports from education, finance, county meeting agenda, growth management, fire and police, medical and water committees.

Our new business will be expansion of membership.
