Publicist and storyteller Jane Sims reported to Historic City News that “A Passel of Pirates” will be the theme for this month’s “Theater of The Mind” storytelling event.
Tale Tellers of St. Augustine will present “A Passel of Pirates” on September 22nd; a collection of assorted stories and songs highlighting ventures of the likes of Captain Kidd, Blackbeard, and Grace O’Malley.
The performance, featuring Chris Kastle and BackinTyme with Frank and Mary Lee Sweet, begins at 7:30 PM in The Pioneer Barn at Fort Menendez in the Old Florida Museum, 259 San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine.

The Pioneer Barn at Fort Menendez is located at the intersection of State Road 16 (Picolata Road) and San Marco Avenue. Ample off street parking is available.
The Tale Tellers of St. Augustine is a non-profit organization of cultural and educational orientation that was founded in 1993 to promote the art and perpetuate the tradition of storytelling. Dedicated to community enrichment, the guild promotes appreciation of storytelling by providing venue for its performing members.
