Shank speaks to Civic Roundtable Monday

St. Johns County Civic Association Roundtable president Anthony Bosco reported that Carl A. Shank, Interim St. Johns County Fire Rescue Chief, will be the guest speaker at this month’s regular business meeting.

The Civic Association Roundtable will be held Monday, August 8, 2011 beginning at 9:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m.

Meetings are now held on the second floor in the Conference Center of the Northeast Florida Regional Airport at St. Augustine, located at 4730 Casa Cola Way.

Shank will give a presentation on the state of fire services in St. Johns County and will be available to answer questions for members before and after the meeting and during the break.

The business meeting will also include reading and approval of minutes of previous meetings, a financial report and committee reports from education, finance, county meeting agenda, growth management, fire and police, medical and water committees.

Our new business will be expansion of membership.

This meeting is NOT sponsored by the Airport Authority, its staff or the Airport.
