Sheriff’s spokesman Kevin Kelshaw told Historic City News local crime patrol reporters that we should have more answers today in the shooting death of a Fruit Cove area woman that occurred early Tuesday morning.
864 Southern Creek Drive in St. Johns became a crime scene yesterday when deputies, responding to an E-911 call, discovered the body of 35 year-old Nicole Elise Bush, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds.
St. Johns County paramedics were summoned to the townhouse to treat Bush. She was transported by air ambulance to Shands Hospital in Jacksonville.
Historic City News received confirmation yesterday that the victim died while receiving emergency treatment at the hospital.
Robbery Homicide detectives are pursing leads at this time and hope to provide more details as to the circumstances surrounding this fatal shooting incident later in the day.
“Investigators are continuing to piece the facts together at this time,” Kelshaw told Historic City News. “Additional details will be released when they become available.”
