Six more states join Florida lawsuit

Posted on 01/18/201101/18/2011 By Historic City News

Six new states have joined Florida in its federal health care lawsuit; according to a report received by Historic City News from the Executive Office of the Governor earlier today.

Attorney General Pam Bondi picked up the mantle from former Attorney General Bill McCollum to challenge what she describes as, “President Obama’s disastrous and unconstitutional health care reform law, the Affordable Care Act”.

Governor Rick Scott said, “The addition of six more states to Florida’s federal healthcare lawsuit speaks volumes about the detrimental impact of ObamaCare — at both the state and national level.”

“The majority of states are now unified in opposition to this federal healthcare takeover,” Scott told Historic City News. “Not only does ObamaCare threaten our freedom, it will mandate an expansion of Medicaid that threatens Florida’s fiscal well-being.”

South Carolina
Nebraska
Texas
Utah
Louisiana
Alabama
Colorado
