When the City of St. Augustine held its 450th Commemoration meeting this afternoon, commissioners got a chance to meet some of the first sponsors who have collaborated with the City and will be part of the official commemoration activities.
Jennifer Zuberer, 450th Communications and Resource Manager, updated the audience and members of the Commission about four new sponsors including Casa Monica, Solar Stiks, Florida Living History and Maritime Heritage Foundation.
A live display from Solar Stiks was assembled outside the Alcazar Room, where the mayor and commissioners were provided a demonstration of the local vendor’s solar and wind powered electric generators.
Solar Stiks is located in West Augustine; they are in the process of remodeling the former Morrison Hardware Store on West King Street.
