Speakers announced for Young Republicans

President Roy A. Alaimo has reminded the members, and invited Historic City News readers as guests, to attend the next meeting of the St. Johns County Young Republicans on Wednesday, February 16th, at 6:30 p.m.

This month’s regular meeting will be held at the St. Augustine Yacht Club located at 442 Ocean Vista Avenue in St. Augustine.

“I hope to see everyone at the meeting,” Alaimo told Historic City News Editor Michael Gold. “Our guest speaker is United States Senate candidate Colonel Mike McCalister.”

Alaimo says that St. Johns County Commissioner Ron Sanchez is scheduled to address the meeting, as well. “The commissioner will give us an update of what is going on in St. Johns County,” Alaimo said.

“If our speakers aren’t enough to get you to the meeting,” Alaimo said with a smile, “we will have a cash bar and some hors d’oeuvres.”
