Jeremy Robshaw reported to Historic City News in St Augustine the holiday schedule for refuse collection in St Johns County.
Garbage, recycling, and yard debris will not be collected on Thanksgiving Day.
Thursday’s pick-up will be completed on Friday the 25th and Friday’s collection will be completed on Saturday the 26th.
This year, Christmas Day falls on Sunday. The regular collection schedule is unaffected; including the prior Friday and following Monday.
The Solid Waste scale houses at Tillman Ridge and Stratton Road will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day only.
The Solid Waste administrative office will be closed as we follow the annual established holiday schedule.
