Town Crier group distributes Constitution

Posted on 08/07/201108/07/2011 By Historic City News

The “Town Crier Committee”, a group of members of the St Augustine Tea Party, told Historic City News local reporters that they attended the First Friday Art Walk event on August 5th.

Two separate groups, between seven and nine, engaged the public; recalling the greatness of America, the Founding Fathers, and the Constitution.

“Over 400 copies of the Constitution were distributed free of charge to an eager public,” said Committee Chairman, Lance Thate. “At a time when the Tea Party has been the target of the mainstream press, the Town Criers continue to receive the good wishes of the folks in St Augustine”.
