Family Movie: New Disney Release
Friday, June 1 @ 3:30 pm – (G) Join us for this new animated Disney film! The Clock family are four-inch-tall people who live anonymously in another family’s residence, borrowing simple items to make their home. Saturday, June 2 @ 2 pm – (PG-13) Join us for a special presentation of an inner city story of two impoverished boys, Isaiah and James. James is developmentally disabled. Their mother, L’Tisha, finds herself in a tragic situation. Dying of tuberculosis, she desperately tries to get her two boys, eight and eleven at the time, adopted together. L’Tisha makes the only choice she feels she can make, creating an unbreakable bond of love between the boys, and hoping that bond will get them through life. Light refreshments will be provided.

Thursday, June 14 @ 6:45 pm – The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes. Life has been good to Tony Webster, who’s both contentedly retired and contentedly divorced. Then friends reappear from a childhood long left behind and presumably shelved, and as the past suddenly looms large, Tony must re-think everything that has been his life. In the hands of multi-award winner Barnes, this should be masterly and, with the book under 200 pages, there’s a gorgeous simplicity at work. All are welcome to join!
