Historic City News readers are invited to attend the 6th Annual Sea Turtle Festival, a family-oriented anniversary featuring live music this Sunday, May 20 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on the bayfront at the St. Augustine Municipal Marina located at 111 Avenida Menendez in St Augustine.
There will be conservation and wildlife education tables, arts and crafts vendors, a silent auction, food and beverages, and “Keeper’s Cove,” an interactive children’s program.
Enjoy live music from performers such as Sam Pacetti, Saltwater Cowgirls, Aslyn and the Naysayers and Honeysweet.
The Annual Sea Turtle Festival is a production of Keepers of the Coast; a local non-profit organization focusing on wildlife education, conservation of sea turtles and other species that share our beach and ocean environment.
The organization’s operation is completely reliant upon volunteer support, collaborative sponsorship for all events, and monetary donations.
The yearly event promises to be a terrific, family-friendly, fun day; according to president Tara Dodson.
FREE Parking is available for the event on a limited “first-come, first-served” basis at downtown public parking areas.
