Arrest made in case of naked man in playground

Historic City News has learned of an arrest in the story first reported here on Wednesday evening; when one of our readers observed a naked man sitting on a swing in the playground of a community recreational park and e-mailed in a photograph of the man as he ran to his vehicle.

Witness statements and evidence collected by detectives investigating Wednesday’s incident led to an arrest warrant being issued for 48 year-old Vincent Emmanuel Tristram who resides at 4057 Seminole Point Court in St Augustine.

Tristram, was located and arrested today; charged with indecent exposure of sexual organs.

On March 25, 2010, in a separate incident, St Augustine police officers arrested Tristram and charged him with indecent exposure and possession of marijuana.

This recent event occurred at about 1:00 p.m., according to the incident report, near a school bus stop in the Coronado subdivision on Wildwood Drive. Wednesday was an early school release day.
