Historic City News has learned that, in two weeks, actors will be auditioned to perform in the newly renovated St Augustine Colonial Quarter, in a production to be called “The Colonial Crew Revue”.
Directors of the new original 90-minute production are searching for 4 male and 2 female performers who have singing and acting talent, comedic timing, as well as the ability to perform magic and stage combat.
“We suggest a 1-minute comedic monologue or prepared music, with or without accompaniment,” reporters were told. “Those auditioning should be prepared to read a script and to learn a song.”

Auditions will be held at noon on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the St Augustine Pirate and Treasure Museum located at 12 South Castillo Drive in St Augustine. Those selected for call backs will be notified the same day.
Actors will be paid for their performances, which are set to debut in March. Rehearsals are unpaid, according to the announcement.
