A 26 year-old man who was reported missing on January 12, by the South Daytona Beach Police Department, is believed to be the man whose body was recovered from Salt Run yesterday.
A group of kayakers spotted the dead body in the water near the Inlet, St Augustine Police spokesman, Mark Samson, told reporters. “Officers pulled the black male out of the water at about 11:00 a.m.”
Using an automatic fingerprint identification system, District 23 Medical Examiner, Dr. Predag Bulic, was able to match postmortem fingerprint impressions to those on file for Tolotolog Woja Bullen Jr.
Following an autopsy, scheduled for tomorrow, Bulic will be able to determine the body’s time, manner and cause of death.
Samson could not speculate on how long before we would have more answers.
