Posted on 05/09/201205/09/2012 By Historic City News

Annette Danielson, Founder and Director of St Augustine Community School of Performing Arts, informed local Historic City News reporters that they have received a generous donation from the Council on Aging of a 5-ft Baby Grand Ellington Piano manufactured by the Baldwin Piano & Organ Company.

Danielson said the donation would help support the outreach programs of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida in St Augustine.

The 501(c) 3 non-profit Community School of Performing Arts, located at 214 San Marco Avenue in St Augustine, provides weekly music classes, concerts, summer camp scholarships, and field trips along with regular meals to participating students.

The organization has served the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida for two years; since the grand opening of its new building located at 555 West King Street, Danielson told Historic City News.

“Our mission is to find and nurture the spirit of creativity and talent that lies within every person,” said Danielson.
