Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
King Street: Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday while Florida Power & Light performs maintenance on power poles between Riberia Street and US 1.
State Road 13: Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday from approximately one mile south of Greenbriar Road to Roberts Road for tree trimming. Also, daytime lane closures from State Road 16 to the Duval County line while crews repaint the roadway markings.
In addition, the speed limit is reduced for an intersection improvement while a roundabout is constructed just north of Riverwalk Boulevard. State Road 16: Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from approximately a half mile east and west of State Road 16A while Florida Power & Light sets new power poles.
State Road 207: Daytime lane closures from the Putnam County line to US 1 while crews repaint the roadway markings.
State Road 312: Traffic has been shifted on the eastbound lanes of the Mickler-O’Connell Bridge over the Matanzas River. Motorists should use caution while driving in the area as crews repair and repaint the bridge. Pedestrians are advised to avoid the east bridge.
State Road A1A: Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday from 23rd Street in Vilano Beach to Mickler Road in Ponte Vedra for bike lane cleaning.
State Road A1A:Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from the Flagler County line to Avenida Menendez.
US 1: Nighttime lane closures for both northbound and southbound traffic from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the San Sebastian River Bridge from Saragossa Street to King Street for the bridge replacement project. Southbound traffic has recently shifted onto the new bridge.
