Historic City News has learned that Flagler College would kick off its 2012-2013 Forum on Government and Public Policy lecture series beginning September 11; the first session featuring Mark Silva, Deputy Managing Editor of Bloomberg News.
With this year’s campaign between Barak Obama and Mitt Romney heating up, Flagler College will bring key journalists covering the closely watched races to St Augustine to discuss the issues.
Tom Iacuzio told reporters that the topic for the Silva lecture is “Election 2012: Too Close to Call?” Silva oversees a team of reporters and editors covering the White House, Congress and the 2012 election campaign, as well as other agencies.
