Government office and service closings

St Johns County and the City of St Augustine reported the following facility closings in honor of Dr Martin Luther King Jr day:

County Offices
All offices of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will be closed on Monday, January 16th. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, January 17th.

Library
All branches of the St. Johns County Public Library System will be closed on Monday, January 16th. All branches will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, January 17th.

Solid Waste
There will be no change to garbage, recycling or yard debris pickup on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. All collections will be made on their normal schedule and transfer stations will be open as usual.

Pet Center
The St. Johns County Pet Center will be closed on Monday, January 16th. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, January 17th.

City of St. Augustine

All offices of the City of St. Augustine will be closed Monday, January 16 for Martin Luther King Day with all city offices re-opening Tuesday, January 17 at 7:30 and 8 a.m.

Solid waste and recyclable pickups will be as normally scheduled for Monday.
