Marine Street closes Friday afternoon

Historic City News readers, traveling in the area of Florida National Guard headquarters at 82 Marine Street Friday afternoon, will want to plan an alternate route as an event at the State Arsenal (St Francis Barracks), will necessitate street closures, according to Public Affairs Director Paul Williamson.

Marine Street, from St. Francis Street south to San Salvador Street, will be closed to vehicular traffic from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Friday, October 19.

St Augustine Police Department personnel will be on site to manage traffic and assist homeowners in the area gain access to their property during the time the street is closed.
