“ROMANZA WEEK”, Monday-Sunday, May 14-20, 2012, clusters over 50 shows and exhibitions in a single week to highlight the remarkable living culture of the Nation’s Oldest City.
This weeklong extravaganza builds to a “Monumental 1812 Constitucion Parade and Celebration” that on Saturday May 19 that commemorates the Bicentennial of Spain’s Constitution, and the only remaining monument to it in the whole world – right here in St. Augustine’s Plaza de la Constitucion.

Romanza Week opens with a Bang!
• Penguin Teeth are classic rockers of the Millenium Generation. A heart thumping journey into an uncomprising, mind-bending world of rock, metal, funk and blues!
• OuttaSight A love of music, and the joy of sharing brings together talented student-musicians and music professionals in Outtasight. Established in 1993, the group has performed at countless events on campus and throughout the state of Florida. The group currently has 11 students who train almost daily.
• Kristilee Ginther, Miss St. Augustine 2012 was crowned on April 7th in Ormond Beach. This is a preliminary for the Miss Florida pageant that is part of the Miss America system. She will be competing in St. Petersburg in July for the Miss Florida title.
