Clerk of Court Cheryl Strickland gave notice to Historic City News reporters that the Board of County Commissioners of St Johns County, Florida, will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. in the County Auditorium at the County Administration Building, 500 San Sebastian View, St Augustine, Florida.
The purpose of the special meeting is to hold the annual reorganization of the Board of County Commissioners.
The regular meeting will convene immediately following the special meeting.
Also, during the regular meeting at 2:00 p.m., there will be an educational session provided by the Office of the County Attorney and Ginger Delegal with Florida Association of Counties.
The Board may also consider and take action on any other business that may lawfully come before it during the special meeting.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at the meeting, they will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
