St Johns County curbside tax drop-off Friday

Dennis W Hollingsworth CFC wants to advise all Historic City News taxpayers that between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, the main office of the St Johns County Tax Collector, located at 4030 Lewis Speedway in St Augustine, will offer a curbside tax payment service.

Curbside payments can only be made in the form of check, cashier’s check or money order. No cash will be accepted at the curbside location, which is located on the circular drive just east of the Tax Collector office.

Tax bills are not due until March 31, 2013; however, the greatest savings can be had by those who pay their bills by November 30, 2012. The discount reduces by one percent each month until February 28. No discount is applied to payments in March.
