Tea Party Express rolling into St Augustine

The Steering Committee of the Saint Augustine Tea Party announced to Historic City News local reporters that they would host a stop on the Tea Party Express next Friday, September 14, 2012, at Francis Field in St Augustine.

There are expanded plans for this year’s rally, which will start at 10:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. The Committee reported that they are contacting other Tea Party and like-minded groups with an invitation to participate in the St Augustine rally.

The Tea Party Express buses are scheduled to arrive at 11:30 a.m. and will depart for their next stop at 1:30 p.m.

Both Republican and Democrat political candidates have also been invited and may be included as speakers. The Steering Committee members reported that the final speaker list would be announced as it develops.
