The Sisters love them some Chick-Fil-A

With all the hoopla yesterday over Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day, and the controversial anti-gay implications appertaining thereto, Historic City News in St Augustine intentionally chose not to run a story documenting the crowds of guests in the local restaurant; however, when one long time reader sent us this photo, we couldn’t resist.

I do not think the Sisters of St Joseph staged a delivery of the tasty morsels from the religiously conservative chicken behemoth that won’t open their stores on Sunday and reminds you to “Have a blessed Day” with every purchase, but I can’t be certain.

One reader believed it had to be a hoax, because the 91-year-old Chairman and Founder of Chick-fil-A, Truett Cathy, who has written books on how he attributes his success to, “hard work, humility and biblical principles,” is a devout Southern Baptist — about as far as Christians get from being Catholic.
