Before Supervisor of Elections Vicky Oakes begins the process of mailing voter information cards in July to the nearly 150,000 registered St Johns County voters, she told Historic City News that she wants residents to make certain that her office has their correct mailing address.
Through a form available on the Elections Office Website you can check the status of your registration and verify your address on file.
“For some voters, it may have been two years, four years, or more since they checked the address on their information card,” Oakes explained. “Voter cards are very important this year as they contain all of the new districts, precincts and polling locations since the redistricting process was completed.”
In addition to the mailing of new cards in July, prior to the August 14 Primary Election, a sample ballot will be mailed to each voter.
If you need to update your address, you may send an email to elections@votesjc.com including your name, address, date of birth, and new address, or, you can call the information in to the Supervisor of Elections and they will help you over the telephone (904) 823-2238.
