Annual Transportation Advisory Group meetings

The St Johns County Transportation Advisory Group notified Historic City News that they will conduct their annual informational meeting on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.; the meeting is open to the public.

Subsequently, on Friday, April 5, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., an organizational and prioritizing meeting will also be held.

Both meetings will be held in the St Johns County Permit Center, Conference Room 1, located at 4040 Lewis Speedway in St Augustine.

The purpose of these meetings is to prioritize projects for the county’s roadway and transportation alternatives fund.

Those recommendations will be submitted to the Board of County Commissioners for approval before being transmitted to the North Florida Transportation Planning Organization.

The Florida Department of Transportation has the final say over all recommendations considered to their work program.
