Art, Culture, and Heritage grant workshops

St Johns Cultural Council announced to Historic City News that local non-profit organizations interested in applying to the Tourist Development Council for an “Art Cultural and Heritage Grant” during fiscal year 2014, will have three opportunities for a representative to attend a mandatory workshop.

Enrollment in any one of the free workshops will satisfy the application requirement.

• Thursday, April 11, 2013 – 3:00 PM
County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine

• Friday, April 12, 2013 – 11:00 AM
County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine

The Art Cultural and Heritage Grant deadline is Friday, May 17, 2013 before 4:00 p.m., and grant guidelines and application forms will be available on April 1, 2013.

Grant applications for “State of the Arts” grants are due on or before April 15. The St Johns Cultural Council is especially interested in arts education and outreach to underserved areas.

These small grants are available for non-profit organizations, individual artists, and teachers. Funding is made possible through revenue from the sale of “State of the Arts” license plates in St Johns County.
