“Legal Tips on Tourism” will be the topic when members and guests of the St Johns County Chamber of Commerce Hospitality and Tourism Council hold their next meeting at the Casa Monica Hotel located at 95 Cordova Street in downtown St Augustine; according to an announcement received by Historic City News from Council President, Adam Shockey.
Attorneys Jill F Bechtold and Nicholas V Pulignano, Jr are the guest speakers for the evening on Wednesday, June 5 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
“We are very fortunate to have Bechtold and Pulignano from the prestigious Marks Gray law firm in Jacksonville to share their knowledge with us,” Shockey, who is Chief Executive Officer of Tour St Augustine, told Historic City News. “We want to educate, train and bring together industry leaders to share successful ideas and experiences with each other.”
Historic City News readers are invited to join the St Johns County Chamber Hospitality and Tourism Council when they meet on the first Wednesday of each month. The $10 attendance fee for members, and $15 for non-members, includes Hors d’oeuvres and 2-drink tickets.
The goal of the new Chamber Hospitality and Tourism Council is to further enhance the abilities of St Johns County tourism businesses to provide first-class service to their visitors. The council aims to achieve this by being a resource for industry-specific training and educational opportunities.
