Starting the week of July 8, Historic City News readers can plan that between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., an inspection and cleaning of sewer lines in the vicinity of Treasury Street between Cordova Street and Charlotte Street will result in some street closures.
The investigative procedure that involves inspecting line with cameras will be performed by United Pipe Rehabilitation, a city contractor.
“This process is necessary for maintenance and repairs associated with the wastewater collection system,” Public Affairs Director Paul Williamson told Historic City News. “We expect it will take approximately three days to complete.”
Minimal street closures are anticipated, and all local traffic will have access to their properties, Williamson said.
