Had Historic City News not reported the truth about the “Picasso Fiasco” yesterday, The St Augustine Record, like the dutiful marionette of local government, would have NEVER tried to correct their misleading Wednesday article with a headline article today.

If you want to live in a town where there is only one source of news, be prepared to suffer the consequences. If, on the other hand, you want a second opinion, a pair of eyes not bought and paid for from the profits of local government advertising dollars, then keep us in the game.

Once again, we are here to keep everyone honest — not afraid or beholding — to challenge what’s proffered as “truth” by the people who will profit by its distribution.
