Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Downtown St. Augustine: Daytime road and lane closures 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday for the annual Easter Parade. Police will direct traffic around road closures. The parade will begin at the Old Jail (167 San Marco Avenue), continue south on San Marco and Avenida Menendez, west on Cathedral Place, north on Cordova Street and end at Cordova Street and Orange Street. Detoured traffic will be directed to US 1, King Street, W. Castillo Drive and Riberia Street.
Daytime road and lane closures 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday for the Ponce de Leon Commemoration event. Lane closures during the event on Avenida Menendez from the Castillo de San Marcos to Cathedral Place. Cathedral Place will be completely closed during the event. King Street will temporarily serve two-way traffic. All westbound traffic on the Bridge of Lions will be directed to turn north during the event.
Daytime lane closures on Cathedral Street while AT&T works near the Matanzas River. This lane closure may affect traffic west of the Bridge of Lions. For additional information, please contact Marty Adams, TB Landmark Construction, Inc., at (904) 751-1016.
Interstate 95: Daytime northbound lane closures 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from County Road 210 to the Duval County line for shoulder repairs.
State Road 13: Possible daytime lane closures while a new roundabout is constructed just north of Riverwalk Boulevard. The speed limit is reduced to 35 mph in the construction zone and to 25 mph through the roundabout. State Road 16: Daytime lane closures and turn lane closures 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Toms Road to San Marco Avenue for sod deliveries, pipe construction and roadway widening operations.
State Road 206: Possible daytime lane closures 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. over the Crescent Beach Bridge. No full bridge closures are scheduled over the Crescent Beach Bridge.
State Road 207: Daytime lane closures 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday from Hilltop Road to Wildwood Drive for sidewalk repairs.
State Road A1A: Daytime single northbound lane closures from one-half mile south to Pope Road for construction of a convenience store at the intersection with State Road A1A. For additional information, contact Troy Credeur, DNS Contracting, at 904-724-6005 or 904-588-8586.
Daytime lane closures after 8:30 a.m. between Mickler Road and Fairfield Boulevard in Ponte Vedra for constructing five-foot shoulders and placing sod.

US 1: Daytime lane closures 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Moss Creek Boulevard to Shores Road in St. Augustine for asphalt repair.
