The Raintree Restaurant in St Augustine announced the final performance dates of the not-to-be-missed smash hit, “Check, Please”, featuring Jonathan Haglund. These are the only remaining public performances in Florida this year, so Historic City News readers are encouraged to get their reservations quickly to see “Check, Please”.
“Check, Please”, by playwright Jonathan Rand, follows a hilarious series of blind dates – that couldn’t get any worse – until they do. Rand was born and raised in Jacksonville and his scripts have been produced by over 6,400 theaters in all 50 states, and in 45 countries.
The century-old Victorian building that is home to The Raintree restaurant is located at 102 San Marco Avenue in uptown St Augustine. It is one of the last surviving structures from the post-Civil War period of development. The Raintree is recognized nationally and internationally as one of Florida’s top destination restaurants.
The final 2013 dates are: Sundays, November 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th.
Reservations can be made in advance at the Raintree Restaurant from 2:00 PM to close, seven days a week, or by calling 904-824-7211. Please go to www.raintreerestaurant.com for more information. Admission is $39.95 per person all inclusive. Adult beverages are available for purchase. Dinner will be served and the play will be performed in the upstairs dining room beginning at 6:00 p.m. Suggested arrival time is 5:30 p.m. The show follows at 7:00 p.m.
The show is produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc.
