OPEN HORTICULTURE SHOW
Enter your potted plants to see if you have the greenest thumb in the county. Bring plants to the Wind Mitigation Building, 3111
Agricultural Center Dr., St. Augustine on Thursday, October 3rd, 2013 between 9am – 5pm. Open to all amateur and professional gardeners who are residents of, or work in, St. Johns County. Ribbons and cash prizes to be awarded.

DATIL PEPPER FESTIVAL
On Saturday, from 11am – 1pm, top chefs representing St. Augustine’s finest restaurants compete (Professional and People’s Choice Competition) in the Sixth Annual Datil Pepper Cook-Off contest. Taste tickets will be sold the day of the event. Datil Pepper products to purchase and sample will also be available.

AMATEUR HOT SAUCE CONTEST – $50 PRIZE
Attention Datil Pepper Sauce Masters! Get out those secret recipes and bring your favorite homemade Datil Pepper sauce to compete for the 2013 BEST SAUCE IN ST JOHNS COUNTY. All Sauce entries must be fresh and brought to the AG CENTER between Thursday, October 3 and Friday, October 4 by 5pm. Call or email for an application:  msamee@sjcfl.us or 209-0430.
