Letter: Future vision for St Augustine

The City of St Augustine is embarking on a process to define a vision plan.

The city commission will start the process with a workshop on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The process will only be relevant and useful if all constituencies are involved along the way.

Residents, businesses and institutions in the City need to be heard.

Sometimes the needs of each complement one another and other times they can conflict. It is how we work through that conflicting interest that makes the City stronger and enduring.

We have a gem of a little city and we need to protect all those attributes that make it the special place that it is. Please get involved in the Vision Process and speak to your City Commissioners about what you envision for the future of the city.
