The 4th year of the Streetlight Program is underway at the Solomon Calhoun Community Center. Middle and high school students are welcome to an evening of clean safe fun and entertainment with their peers.

The Streetlight program is held on the first and third Friday of each month from 7 to 11pm. The next Streetlight events will be held on February 8th and 22nd. St Paul AME Church Youth Minister Titerian Fields is coordinator. Those attending are treated to light refreshments such as pizza and drinks. Perhaps your organization would like to become a sponsor. The Young Peoples Department of St Paul AME Church will sponsor the 1st Annual Black History Xplosion on Sunday February 10th at 4 pm. Local talent will be spotlighted during this program. Come enjoy dancing, poetry, skits, singing, Praise, and Worship. For more information, contact Youth Minister Titerian Fields at 377-2463.

The West Augustine Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Citizens Steering Committee will hold is February meeting on Monday the 11th, 7pm Collier Blocker Park, 10 North Holmes Blvd. The public is invited to attend and so are “they”. Stop listening to what “they” say, come find out for yourself what is going on in your community.
