New local business has alternative to outdoor toilets

Historic City News came across an interesting new business in St Augustine that rents boutique restroom facilities for events — but Lovely Loo Portable Restrooms LLC isn’t your average portable toilet.

St Augustine residents Bo Strange, a St Johns County Sheriff’s deputy, and his wife Amanda, a St Johns County 3rd grade school teacher, registered the business April 29, when they say they saw the need for restroom facilities at special events where only a port-o-let was offered.

So, they started “The Lovely Loo”, a family-owned small business. Now, their company rents at sporting events, weddings, graduations, or any other special event held in St Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Jacksonville, Palm Coast, Daytona Beach, or Orlando.

“We provide new and exceptionally clean portable restrooms for outdoor special events throughout central and north Florida,” according to their website. “We provide personal service beyond what you would expect to find in the portable restroom business.”
