Among incidents reported to Historic City News by the St Augustine Police Department, Arnett Heating and Air reported vandalism to their property at 83 Orange Street Monday morning after someone spray painted their building and back privacy fence.
No suspects have been named, although some of the letters are being traced. Police are hopeful that someone who knows the meaning of “westside boyz” PMW or 206 will come forward with more information.
A city resident advised police that someone used his credit card number in Irvine, Texas. He canceled the card and needed a police report to be reimbursed from the credit card company.
Domestic battery charges were signed against Devon Utley of South Orange Street for an incident that happened at 208 Anastasia Boulevard #16.
Charges signed for the theft of beer against Yancy Jarvis; a homeless man identified from a photo lineup by the manager of the CVS pharmacy at 2703 N Ponce Boulevard in St Augustine. The pharmacy also reported the uttering of a false prescription from a local doctor’s office. That doctor also reported a missing prescriptions pad from her office.
Officers found Kenneth Durland of Jacksonville passed out in his truck behind the St George Tavern. The engine was running and the transmission was in drive. He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
Laniel Lamartiniere, Porter Road Extension, was arrested on a warrant from St Johns County for failure to appear.
Officers responded to a call of two people passed out in a room at the Holiday Inn located at 1302 N Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Both patients were transported to Flagler Hospital in critical condition. Evidence revealed a possible overdose. Investigation continues.
James Foster was arrested in the Plaza on a warrant from St Johns County for Failure to Appear.
Kenan Worthen, 62 Chapin Street, was arrested for domestic Battery.
