Sheriff will address local Republican Club

St Johns County Sheriff David B Shoar will be the guest speaker during the February meeting of the Republican Club of Greater St Augustine according to an announcement received by Historic City News today.

Secretary Pat Greenfield advised that the meeting will be held at the St Augustine Shrine Club located at 250 Brainard Drive on Monday, February 11th beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a social and complimentary food.

The business meeting will convene at 7:00 p.m. followed with the presentation by Sheriff Shoar who will address timely topics including Florida’s “stand your ground” law, possession of firearms by private citizens, and some basics that everyone who owns a firearm should know.
