Tuesday evening’s speaker, Steve Baughn, will address the general meeting of the Saint Augustine Tea Party with his views on the nation’s central bank; which he tells Historic City News reporters is both corrupt and unconstitutional.
The Federal Reserve System was created by an act of Congress on December 23, 1913; consisting of a seven member Board of Governors with headquarters in Washington, D.C., and twelve Reserve Banks located in major cities throughout the United States.
“The Federal Reserve System is inflating currency today at nearly a Weimar or Zimbabwe level; a practice that threatens to put us into an inflationary depression where $100 bills are worthless,” Baughn was quoted from his announcement. “What most people don’t realize is that the central bank, which was created by the Morgans and Rockefellers at a private club off the coast of Georgia, is actually working against their own personal interests.”
Tea Party Chairman, Dave Heimbold, announced to Historic City News that the meeting room of the Village Inn, located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St Augustine, will open at 6:30 p.m. for members and guests who would like to order food and beverages. The guest speaker will begin his presentation at 7:00 p.m.
“Baughn is a captivating communicator with a unique ability to deliver nuggets of sterling information with clarity and impact,” Heimbold said. “Don’t miss this informative and exciting presentation, and bring a friend.”
The meeting is open to the public. There is no charge to attend; however, food and beverage purchases are the responsibility of each attendee. Reservations are not required but seating is limited, so schedule arrival times accordingly.
