Wine-sampling at Women in Hot Water book tour

Historic City News readers are invited to join Glenda Bailey-Mershon for the “Women in Hot Water” tour; when popular authors reveal how they got into hot water — and what they did to get out.

Bailey-Mershon is the editor of Jane’s Stories IV as well as a poet and fiction writer. She will share her favorite stories from the collection and perhaps an excerpt from her latest work.

“Come for this reading and see what all the fuss is about,” Bailey-Mershon said. “Take the opportunity to listen to stories and poems that illuminate women’s lives — in our entire joyful, suspenseful, flavorful splendor.”

The free wine-sampling and book tour will be held on Thursday, May 9, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Tim’s Wine Market located in the SeaGrove Town Center at 128 Seagrove Main Street in St Augustine. Guests may sample a variety of wines — and even purchase a bottle to enjoy with friends.
