The St Augustine Police Benevolent Organization is asking Historic City News readers to participate in the upcoming Zumba-thon Fundraiser, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to benefit St Augustine police officers who have been battling cancer.
The St Augustine Police Benevolent Organization was founded over 50 years ago to aid in the welfare of the general public and its employees. The non-profit group is a registered 501(c)(4) charitable organization.
“We are holding the two-hour Zumba-thon at the Ketterlinus Gym, located at 60 Orange Street in St Augustine, on Saturday, May 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.,” said police spokesman Mark Samson. “Leading the dance party are St Augustine’s top Zumba instructors — Zumba Hidee and Tina.”
A $20 donation will be collected for tickets at the door, or, you may purchase advance tickets online at the St Augustine Police Benevolent Organization’s event website located at http://sapbozumbathon.eventbrite.com
