10 Days to pay property tax without penalty

St. Johns County Tax Collector, Dennis W. Hollingsworth, C.F.C., reminds all Historic City News readers that 2013 property taxes are due March 31st and considered delinquent April 1st, when a 3% penalty applies.

Taxes can be paid online at www.sjctax.us, by mail — if postmarked no later than the March 31, 2014 deadline, or in person at any of five branch locations.

On Friday, March 28th and Monday, March 31st, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., a team member will be outside the St. Johns County Tax Collector location at 4030 Lewis Speedway in St. Augustine to offer curbside tax collection service, and open 8:30 a.m. till noon Saturday March 29th for tax collection and other services.

Cash will not be accepted curbside, on the east circle driveway; all payments must be made with personal check, cashier’s check or money order.
