Kris Collora, president of the North Florida Procurement Association and a purchasing specialist for Flagler County, invites Historic City News readers who would like to sell their products or services to cities, counties, school boards, institutions of higher learning and special districts, to attend the upcoming 2014 Annual Reverse Trade Show.
This exciting event is being held on the campus of Flagler College on Thursday, May 22, 2014, so the time is right to register and make your plans to attend.
“If you sell to government agencies – or you want to – this is a must-attend event for you and your firm,” Collora told Historic City News reporters. “If you’ve never been to a Reverse Trade Show, representatives from local and regional government agencies will staff booths, and vendors move from booth to booth meeting these reps, describing their products and services and making new contacts.”
Collora explained that the members of North Florida Procurement Association, who are a chapter of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing, are purchasing professionals from various agencies within the northeast Florida region; including the counties of Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns.
For a salesman, its like shooting fish in a barrel — no driving across town from appointment to appointment, your next big account is right across the aisle. It would be hard to find a better opportunity to be able to meet and discuss business possibilities and review upcoming needs for your products and services with representatives from this market of ready, willing, and able buyers.
The event is being held at the Flagler College Ringhaver Student Center, located at 50 Sevilla Street, in St. Augustine, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Breakfast will be provided for all paid registrants. From now through May 1, 2014, registration is discounted to $100 per vendor; otherwise registration up through the day of the event is $125.
