Supervisor of Elections Vicky Oakes informed Historic City News Friday that the red absentee ballot drop boxes were distributed by Elections Office staff members and are now available so voters may drop off their voted absentee ballots for the General Election.
Please check the listing on our website for specific information on locations, dates and times the boxes are available.
“One new location has been added for this election, Anastasia Island Branch Library. Now all public libraries in St. Johns County are absentee ballot drop off sites,” Oakes told local reporters. “We are continuing to use the Tax Collectors Offices in Ponte Vedra and Julington Creek and St. Augustine Beach City Hall.”
The drop boxes will be available at all locations until November 4th, Election Day, when all of the boxes will be picked up at 5 PM and returned to the Elections Office for processing.
There is also a 24 hr. Absentee ballot drop off box located in front of the Elections Office for your convenience.
