Historic City News readers are patriotically invited to attend the general meeting of the Saint Augustine Tea Party when it is held on Tuesday, October 28, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Village Inn located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine.

The special guest will be Randy McDaniels, a member of “ACT! for America” located in Jacksonville.

“Randy McDaniels is a Marine veteran who served as an operations specialist, and also on the 11th Counter-Intelligence Team, which conducted counter terrorism, counter espionage and counter-subversion operations,” Lance Thate, Town Crier chairman and president of the local Tea Party told reporters. “Mr. McDaniels’ mission is to expose Radical Islam in our midst, and he will be addressing the rise of Terrorism.”

McDaniels is the President of the Jacksonville Chapter of ACT! for America, and is a national mentor. Over 800 chapters of ACT! for America are mobilizing to defeat the implementation of Islamic Sharia Law in the United States.

In May 2014, SB 386 the American Law for American Courts, passed the Florida Legislature and was approved by Governor Scott. This legislation, supported by McDaniels’ organization, prohibits Florida courts from considering certain provisions of foreign laws, including Islamic Sharia law, if such provisions are inconsistent with the constitutions of the State of Florida or the United States.

Thate promises a very informative evening and encourages you to bring a friend. All meetings and programs presented by the Saint Augustine Tea Party are open to the public and there is no admission charge.
