Lost Ships Tour
Join other Lighthouse members on Thursday, February 13th, from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM for an exclusive tour with a Lighthouse archaeologist. These scientists make discoveries every summer on the “Lost Ships of St Augustine” wrecked off the coast of our nation’s oldest port. Visit our maritime archaeology laboratory facilities and examine artifacts that haven’t been touched by human hands for centuries. Limit 15 guests on the tour. Advanced reservations are required.
Brown Bag Lunch Series
Bring your lunch to the St Augustine Lighthouse & Museum and join us for our Brown Bag Lunch Series. Admission is free to all current members of the Lighthouse. Held the fourth Wednesday of each month from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM in the Anastasia Gallery, the event is sponsored by the St Augustine Lighthouse Guild. The free series features guest speakers and engaging discussions around local history. Space is limited, advanced reservations are required. Contact Dennis Kirk at (904) 829-0745 x224.
Dark of the Moon Tour
On Thursday, February 27th, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., guides will share paranormal history and experiences of people who have visited, lived, or worked at the Lighthouse. Then you are given time to investigate on your own, with only a glow stick lighting your way. Dark of the Moon is the only tour that gets you in the Lighthouse and the Keepers House at night. All ghost no gimmicks. Limit 50 guests on the tour. Advanced reservations are required.
